Auto Event Reporting

For parking administrators who want to simplify post-event workflows, Auto Event Reporting automates the entire reporting process—sending a clean, accurate event report to the right people automatically.

Unlike manual exports, Auto Event Reporting saves time, ensures accuracy, and keeps accounting teams moving without delays.

Why It Matters

Before Auto Event Reporting, parking administrators had to manually generate, clean up, and send out reports once an event had ended. This process was time consuming, prone to errors, and sometimes delayed billing timelines.

Auto Event Reporting takes the manual work out of post-event reporting by allowing users to add email recipients and configure clean-up options. It’s faster, cleaner, and totally hands-off!

How It Works

When creating or editing an event, simply enable automatic reporting, add recipient emails, and configure the clean up options! Offstreet will handle the rest as soon as the event concludes.

Step 1: Enable Automatic Reporting

  • Navigate to the Settings tab and scroll down to the Reporting section.
  • Click the toggle to enable Automatic Reporting

Step 2: Add Email Recipients

  • Enter one or more email addresses in the Recipient field and hit 'Enter'
    • Make sure to include your own email if you want a copy for your records.

Step 3: Configure Clean up Options

  • Toggle Remove “test” license plates to remove any entry containing the word test.

All reports are sent from noreply@offstreet.com and include a link to download the attached report:

FAQs

  • Can I edit the email message that gets sent?
Not yet. The first version uses a default template. In future updates, you'll be able to customize the subject line, body, and reply-to address!
  • If I create an event without enabling automatic reporting, will I automatically get a report sent to me at the end of the event?
No, you will only receive an automated report if you enable automatic reporting and add your email address to the recipients list before the event ends.
  • What if I forget to add a recipient email?
You can always manually download and email the report afterward the same way as before.
  • Can I stop the report from being sent automatically?
Yes. Simply remove all recipient emails before saving your event.
  • If an email fails, can I resend it without creating a manual export?
Not yet. Resending failed emails from the Events List is coming soon!
  • When does Automatic Reporting consider an event end time?
Once the last interval of the event has concluded. (eg. An event set for every weekday in October would have the report sent out after the last weekday)
