Sync Offstreet permits directly with UPSafety’s handheld enforcement platform

Offstreet integrates with T2 UPSafety to automatically push permit data into your enforcement system. Once connected, enforcement officers will see valid permits in real time—no manual entry required.

Integration Overview

This is a push integration. Offstreet syncs licence plates to T2 UPSafety using secure credentials. Each Offstreet location is mapped to a Zone Code in UPSafety, ensuring permits are routed to the correct enforcement zone.

What You’ll Need

RequirementDescriptionWho Provides It
API KeyAuthenticates Offstreet’s connection to UPSafetyYou (via T2)
Client IDIdentifies your UPSafety accountYou (via T2)
Zone Code(s)Tied to each enforcement location in UPSafetyYou or Offstreet
Company ID / NameUsed internally for Offstreet setup and trackingOffstreet
Location ID / NameUsed to configure each location within OffstreetOffstreet

Authentication is managed by Offstreet using the credentials provided by T2.

No client-side configuration is required once credentials are submitted.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Request Credentials from T2

Contact your T2 Account Manager and request the following credentials:

  • API Key
  • Client ID
  • Zone Code(s) for each enforcement location

Suggested Email Template:

Hi [T2 Contact Name],

We’re working with Offstreet to set up an integration with UPSafety.

Could you please provide the following credentials for our account?

- API Key
- Client ID
- Zone Code(s) for each location

Once we receive those, Offstreet will complete the configuration.

Thanks,
[Your Name]

2. Offstreet Configures the Integration

Once you provide the credentials, Offstreet will:

  • Set up the integration in our system
  • Connect your company and each location to UPSafety using the Zone Codes
  • Coordinate backend setup with our engineering team

3. Map Zone Codes in Offstreet

After the integration is configured:

  1. Offstreet will map each Zone Code to your corresponding location
  2. You’ll see these mappings reflected in the Zone Name field in your Offstreet dashboard
  3. This mapping ensures that permit data routes correctly to UPSafety

Zone Codes must match exactly—these are case-sensitive and critical for permit delivery.

4. Test the Integration

Once mappings are complete:

  • Offstreet will register a test permit (e.g., plate TEST123)
  • You or your T2 contact will confirm that the plate appears correctly in UPSafety

Once confirmed, the integration is live.

Troubleshooting Tips

Test plate not appearing in UPSafetyConfirm the Zone Code was entered correctly in Offstreet (case-sensitive)
