May 2025 Release Notes
This month, we delivered updates that streamline registration rules, empower event communication, and unlock real-time integrations. Here’s what’s new!
New Features
Maximum Registrations – Disable Option When Max is Reached
When a registration limit is hit, users are now prevented from proceeding in the Portal. No more surprises after clicking “Park.”
- Disables the registration flow proactively when capacity is reached
- Prevents users from encountering last-step errors
- Aligns behavior with the existing Maximum Active Registrations rule
Add Additional Instructions to Events
Customers now have full control over when and how instructions appear to their users — before, during, and after the permit lifecycle.
- Pre-purchase: Displayed before a permit is selected in the Portal
- Post-purchase: Shown on confirmation page, email, and reminders
- Expiry reminder: Appears in the 15-minute expiry email (max 160 chars)
- Supports full link formatting and fallback hierarchy: Event → Tenant → Location
New API Endpoint – /ingest/permits
A major step forward in our integration strategy: third-party vendors can now send permits directly to Offstreet in real time.
- New REST endpoint:
POST /ingest/permits
- Stores permits natively for reporting, enforcement, and analytics
- Fully integrated with downstream delivery
- Supports: multi-location, multi-vehicle, and multi-interval
- Designed with vendor extensibility and backwards compatibility in mind
